Download managers can make your life easier, especially if you have an unstable Internet connection. Their main advantage is the possibility of resuming interrupted downloads, but you also get a higher downloading speed and a wide variety of useful features. EagleGet provides everything you would expect from a download manager, but in a simplified manner. Due to its monitoring and automation features, the software can download numerous files from the Internet, without too much user input.

EagleGet is absolutely free. You can use all its functions, without any restrictions or recommendations to upgrade to a paid version. The application works on Windows XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win 8. Its hardware requirements are modest and it does not ask for any prerequisite tools.

While running on your computer, EagleGet will take over any download links, on Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. When you click a download link, the application will display a small window, on which you can select a destination folder and a group. The window can be expanded, to reveal additional options, for starting the download immediately, manually or according to a schedule, checking the file's integrity when the download is complete and more.

Downloading processes are listed on EagleGet's compact interface, along with a series of details, like status, progress, transfer rate and so on. New downloads can be prepared manually as well. You just need to click the New button, on the user interface, to bring up the same settings window. The software can also monitor your clipboard and browsers. Copied download links will be pasted automatically on the aforementioned window.

The software can download web videos as well. The EagleGet package includes plug-ins for Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. If you enable these plug-ins, you will be able to download videos, from any website. Regardless of what website you visit, you will find a Download option, next to the video, after you play it.
